Nipple stimulation

The other day , a friend suggested that I do nipple stimulation,like her.She was 39++ when she tried it,and after a few minutes,her water broke,mucus plug excreted (is that the right term?) and contractions came three minutes apart.

Wow. Is that just a coincidence or does it really work? That's scary guys. 

I read up on it,there are a few different methods regarding duration of the stimulation and rest time.and it only works if your cervix is ripe enough,and you've reached 37 and above.

So i tried. 4 Mins on one side.4 mins rest.and then i felt a sharp pain down under with contractions. I continued on the left side.contractions again.

This i did for 30 mins.

You're supposed to do it a few times a day but it got me so scared i stopped.i'll try again in my 39++..

Nipple stimulation is said to mimic breastfeeding,releasing oxytocin that induces labor.

Im 37+3 today. Just a few more days to see my princess...

Later today I messaged that friend. 

"hey it works! So much that i had to stop!". 

"You better be careful,a friend of mine did it and had her baby in the car,on the way to the hospital.If you plan to do it make sure someones at home."

"Err but she was 40 weeks right?like you?"

"Nope.38. Like you.HAHA.

Not that im afraid of labor or anything pft.Ive been induced ok. Thats like 10* the pain of non induced labor. Snort*.

But lets just say im not so keen in eating those soups and ikan bakar and jamu and daun petai belalang. Better make a bucket list of things I haven't eaten yet. Mmm..
