4D Scan

I've been postponing the detailed scan week after week, they're always full on day's we were available. So we decided to just do the 4D scan and skip the detailed scan. 

Klinik Ajwa's sonographer always visits on a weekend, and so 3 weeks before the scan I made an appointment on 30th July, 10 am. First scan of the day. 

And masyaAllah the experience of looking at your unborn baby is so surreal. At first K was facing downwards, and he was still asleep. I know it's because I haven't had breakfast yet , and the sugar rush would have woken him up. I did drink some chocolate milk and had a snack before coming, but the little munchkin was too comfy sleeping. The sonographer kept nudging him but he wouldn't move!!! Wakie wakie baby, we're here to see you. 

It was only after Aizad came and yelled "K, wake upppp" to my tummy that the little bugger turned his head , this time facing upwards.  There, we can see his face. But it was partially covered by his placenta. A few nudges again and he moved his face, only to have his umbilical cord across his face Luckily the sonographer could snap a few pics of his face....

And he looks like his Dad. 

Shoot. 

Well he has Aizad's nose, obviously mine aren't THAT big hahaha. But i think he has my lips, and his eyes were closed, so Im still not 100% assured he has Aizad's features more than mine. HAHA. People say when they're born, baby boys look more like their dad but as they grow older they look more like their mommies. Betul kan ni? KAN? LOL

Little K now weighs 1.3 kilos at 28 weeks. Can you imagine? Babycentre said the average weight should be around 1 kilo. And guess what? He has a double chin!!!  We could see it clearly during the scan, and his cheeks ohmy. Dah melayut. Kesan Mak makan kfc dan nasi hari2. Cant live without nasi. 

The sonographer confirmed that it was a boy, even snapped a pic of his balls. HAHA. Everything was in place, his heart, his organs, his toes and fingers. Alhamdulillah, our baby's growing healthy and strong..

At one point, he had both his arms by his ears, macam tengah azan. And then a few minutes later we saw his foot, on his forehead!!!  that little acrobat. and then he covered his face with his arm. Tengok tangan besar tu. ishhhhh. Padanla time dia gerak rasa macam kuat je tumbukan . tangan dah demok. 

And jari runcing!!  see him flex it. 

tengok hidung tuuuu ikot hidung abah diaaaaaa..

but my bro said bibir dia ikot bibir aku haha. 

muahs!

And during the whole scan, his mouth was like a fish..open and shut..open and shut. macam orang tengah lapar ahaha. Kesian K..

So yeah..12 more weeks!! Excited and nervous at the same time. Time flies so fast, I can't believe I'm in my third tri already. 

I've started to fast on Monday.Ganti puasa.  Bagus kan? Tahu , bagussss.. Well at least perut tak terkejut sangat nak puasa minggu depan ni. Harap2 dapat puasa penuh InsyaAllah...I posted a question on fb wether it was safe for me to fast, thank you everyone for the motivation and support. So far dah hari ketiga, badan ok je. First day je pening, maybe tak biasa. But K has been suprisingly active than usual, Alhamdulillah. After sahur , usap perut and bagitau dia Mak nak puasa, jangan buat mak risau. HAHA. Kuat dia nendang seharian. 

If you're planning to go for a 4d scan, I recommend Klinik Ajwa. Takda weekdays like UMRA, but I know the sonographer is the same one that does DEMC's, I asked.  And at DEMC they charge RM350, Klinik Ajwa just charge RM160 for the same sonographer. Pft. 

And call for an appointment 2 weeks in advance the latest or you won't get a spot. 

Ok. time for iftar!!! Gitu iftar.
