I don't consider myself a fashionista even though I love clothes. I love looking pretty. I love being dolled up. I love making sure I am presentable. Does that make me vain? Fashionista is
A person devoted to fashion clothing, particularily unique or high fashion. A person not to be called a fashionista would be someone who obsessivly follows trends. REAL fashionistas do not believe in trends. (Urban dictionary)
Yet, I don't believe in trends either. I think trends are overrated. Played and manipulated by capitalist who make and sell garments, shoes, accessories for a price 3 or 4 times the production cost. I don't believe in saving up money just to get that RM400 shoe.Or is it because I don't make that much of a money to afford such shoe? LOL. So when ankle heels became popular, I thought they were being way overrated. The designs are to die for but to wear these heels and not fall? How can you ?
I thought I'd hate wearing the ankle heels. Everytime I window shop, I pick one up, examine it. Look at the price and put it back down. I won't wear it if I think it won't fit in into my teeny tiny budget.
This happens 10 000 times. Yes to wedges. No to ankle heels.
Until yesterday I laid my eyes on these babies and quickly fell in love. HAHA. So my first ankle heels. I'm that excited haha.
I felt so tall wearing it! LOL. Knowing me, I always wear until tear but I guess a girl needs her shoes eh? I always love wearing long skirts and shoes like this will make me fall in no time. I'm clumsy when it comes to walking. Plus I'm so used to wearing sandals that towering over with 4 inch ankle heels gives me the chills.
But I tried it on today and felt like a cat walking for the first time. Miaw. Eh? HAHA.
So here's to my first pair of ankle heels.
